Valerie Stanson – Instructor
A little over a decade ago, I began my yoga journey in my tweens after finding my mom’s yoga tapes. My tight, athletic muscles liked the mindful movements and the thought of touching my toes. I continued on my yoga journey in college by participating in a work/study with NP Rock Yoga, where I had hoped I would find some stress relief and more flexibility. There, I had found several challenging and loving teachers who helped me step outside of limits that I had set for myself and realize a greater potential on and off the mat.
I had completed my 200 hour RYT and my classes focus on breathe and alignment and are infused with a little humor and a lot of love. I can now touch my toes but more importantly I continue to find a beautiful union of mind, body, and spirit from small movements, connection to the breath, and the power within.
